Why Reusable Freezer Bags?
The idea for reusable freezer bags came about when I was making a bunch of slow cooker freezer meals at once in disposable freezer bags.
People kept asking me, “Is there a reusable option? Is there anything that can store these meals that can be used again and again?”
I spent hundreds of dollars buying reusable food-safe bags that I found online and tested them myself.
Unfortunately, they were difficult to clean, hard to close, and some of them leaked! They were too expensive and I had to modify my recipes because the bags were too small!
That just wasn’t good enough.
I realized I needed to create the perfect reusable bags for our style of freezer meals.
After months of back-and-forth and testing, I finally had reusable bags that function exactly like disposable freezer bags, only better!
From there, I took it one step further and designed quart-sized freezer bags – perfect for empty nesters, smaller meals, and freezing individual ingredients.
They’re a true quart size, so I can split a recipe in half or portion out smaller quantities (like 1-pound packs of meat or pre-chopped veggies). They don’t leak, they don’t stick together in the freezer, and they clean up easily, making them the most practical option for smaller-scale freezer cooking.

How big are these bags?
Each pack includes six reusable bags, each the size of a standard quart zipper bag (7.75″ x 10″). They’re perfect for splitting recipes in half or freezing smaller portions like a 1-pound pack of meat.
Are they easy to clean?
Just turn them inside-out, wash with hot soapy water, and air dry. (Many customers dry them on our baggy stands.) The whole process takes about 60 seconds.
Do the bags smell?
The bags are NOT made from plastic and, therefore, do not have a plastic-type smell. Simply wash and dry inside-out between uses to avoid any type of lingering food smell.
Where are the bags manufactured?
After testing several options, we partnered with a trusted facility in China that specializes in producing high-quality, food-safe PEVA bags.
Do the bags stain?
Bags used to store meals with tomato-based ingredients can stain (and probably will!). To remove stains, dry your bags outside in the sunshine. Many people reserve stained bags for tomato meals and keep clear ones for other recipes.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. If you receive a defective bag (ex: broken seal), email us and we’ll handle replacements on a case-by-case basis.
Do the bags affect the taste of the freezer meals?
Nope. After a year of testing, we can confirm they don’t affect taste at all.
How do you recommend labeling these bags?
The easiest option is to use our Freezer Meal Labels, designed to stick tight in the freezer and peel off cleanly. Customers also use water-resistant Avery stickers (#22827), paper labels with clear shipping tape, or grease pencils/China markers.
